Professor Mayur Mota, is B.Sc. M.Sc., M. Phil, M.C.M, M.Tech. (Computer Science) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya, Indore (Madhya Pradesh), India. He is presently working as Head, department of Computer Science & Information Technology with P. M. B. Gujarati Science College, Indore, accredited B+ by NAAC.

He has more than 18 years of experience in academics, including teaching & administration. His specialization is in the field of Computer Network, Web Usage Mining. He has delivered a large number of lectures as visiting faculty at many universities and institutes of repute. He has been associated with Makhanlal Chaturvedi University, Bhopal and independently inspected more than thirty institutes for M.Sc. (CS & IT), BCA & PGDCA courses. He has experience of establishment of AICTE approved MCA & MBA institutes and has also had the opportunity to work as Director, Shri Gujarati Samaj Institute of Professional Studies, Indore for more than three years. His honed administrative skills have been exhibited in various fields as academics and other activities wherein he has worked in the capacity of admission incharge, assistant superintendent, University examination, Convener, Career Guidance & Placement Cell, Convener, Semester Cell of college, etc. Being a multi-faceted person, he is involved in teaching, consultancy and research in Web Usage Mining and Knowledge Management.

He has authored more than six best selling books on numerous topics related to computer science. He has participated in various national, international, UGC sponsored & AICTE approved seminars as well as workshops and also presented papers there in.
